We visited the hotel late October and early November 2024. The hotel is located at the Old Quarter. The location is great because there are endless options of restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, money exchange and points of interest around and nearby. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The beds are very comfortable. Bathrooms are clean with great water pressure and you are provided with everything you would need. Our booking included breakfast. The hotel restaurant is on the 8th floor and we had breakfast there every day. They provide you local and continental breakfast options through an open buffet. The food is really good. They also serve dinner and again their food is quite good. There is a Sky Bar on the 9th floor with beautiful views of the Old Quarter. They have a great selection of cocktails. It was nice sitting there at the end of a tiring day. The Spa is in the basement level of the hotel. It is very calm and relaxing there. And the massage and treatments are really good with reasonable prices. We had 90 minutes of herbal massage and treatments. We have traveled a lot in the region at almost all Indochina countries. Many hotels have similar amenities. The real difference makers are the staff. I have nothing but praise for the staff of JM Marvel. From our first moment to the last they were excellent. They were extremely kind, calm, collected and helpful. They made our time in Hanoi much better with recommendations and suggestions. All the staff of the hotel from front desk to cleaners to kitchen staff to waiters deserve the praise. Our main contact person was Mr Dinh An Ny (known as Ny to us). He helped and guided us a lot in person and through WhatsApp. It was thanks to him we discovered some great local food places and didn't miss any must-see attractions. We took his advice for the day trips to Ninh Binh and Ha Long Bay and things couldn't be better. All in all, a great hotel and wonderful staff. 10/10 would stay again.

We were truly touched by the warm hospitality of the hotel staff, especially the front desk agent, Nguyen Thom. She welcomed us like friends with delicious tea and snacks. She was incredibly helpful with travel advice, recommending popular spots and restaurants, providing relevant information, and even assisting with restaurant reservations and our limousine transfer. Besides, bed is cozy, and the hotel is stylish from lobby, rooms, restaurants and skybar. We have many good pictures here. Really love the decoration here. We felt so comfortable during our stay and highly recommend this hotel to others!"

The hotel is set in the old quarter and is conveniently situated for visits to this and the French quarter.The breakfast was very good.The whole hotel is exceptionally clean and most of the staff are more than attentive ..reception staff are so helpful as are the bell boys .. my taxi to the airport was late as it had been given the wrong address by the dispatcher.. this was nothing to do with the hotel but about 4 staff helped me and resolved the situation.. they were truly exceptional and kind ..it’s a great base for exploring Hanoi.

Special mention to Trang Nguyen, and Dave who ensured that our stay was comfortable :) The Hotel is wonderfully located with most places one would want to visit being a quick walk away. There are coffee shops, 24hr supermarkets and eateries in the vicinity. The rooftop restaurant makes some wonderful cocktails and is a great place to get a relaxing dinner. Their Spa was also excellent and I would recommend a massage there for sure!

The property was nice, the location for the hotel was really good and helpful for joining other activities. The room was nice and clean. Mainly the best thing we loved about the hotel was the behavior of the staffs , I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels but never came across such kind hearted staffs, they tried their best to help us out , this might sound over exaggeration but they were really nice , not only me but my entire family loved their behavior . (The Chia seed drink was very tasty though)
